May 4, 2020
As we continue to navigate these unprecedented times as related to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the public health concern that it poses. KSA is continuing to work with and follow recommendations of state and local governments. As we know the “Stay at Home” order has been extended until at least May 8th,2020. There has also been a recommended three stage plan put forth to guide us once the order has been lifted. We as an organization are looking to try and figure out exactly what this will mean to us, our players and our extended KSA families. We are still looking at all possible ways forward with everyone’s health and safety first and foremost in our thoughts.
At this point in cooperation with the North Carolina Youth Soccer and the Town of Kernersville’s recommendations, KSA will be extending the postponement of all soccer related activities at Ivey Redmond until Monday June 1st. KSA will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate our options as more information becomes available.
Again, we ask that you please be patient with us as we plan during this time of uncertainty. KSA currently plans to restart our season as soon as it is possible without adding undo risk to our KSA membership, staff and families. We continue to look for ways to work within the guidelines set forth to guide us. At this time KSA is not planning to cancel the season and we will continuing to monitor the situation for health and safety recommendations to determine the best course of action going forward.
Again, our main goal is the safety and well-being of our players, staff, referees, and club members. Please keep an eye out for more information and visit our website (www.ksasoccer.com) to stay up to date on the latest information. We will communicate frequently with you all as we navigate through this time and make decisions on when it’s safe to return to the fields.
